Naturally. First, we need the wine growers who produce the good grapes. Then the oenologists, who make optimal use of this asset. The wine may well be ready at that stage, but the process is still not complete. The wine needs to be discovered by wine waiters, gastronomes, merchants, journalists, and naturally by the consumer. Tomas & Giesen started with a clear idea in mind: to produce good wines from old-established grape varieties in association with wine growers who give of their best in the vineyard, yet lack the opportunity to process and market their wines themselves. From this point of view, it is possible to speak of a sensory development project. We owe thanks to all those who were convinced by our idea and have continued to nourish it for the fact that the seed has germinated and come up. We are proud of this »network of independent taste«.
